    Hi,
I really impressed with Summer Geisha and wish to purchase it. How much will it cost? I am staying at Penang, Malaysia. How much will be the total cost for a set (include thread, fabric, chart & shipping cost)?

    Thanks.

Summer Geisha will be available as a chartpack later on this year. I’m sorry but I do not sell fabric and threads. I will post her on my blog on the Chartpacks page when she becomes available. Thanks!

Will you be posting older designs like Father Christmas in the order chartpacks section? After the magazines they appear in are out of stores, it becomes exeptionally hard to get a hold of a copy, even online. Designs such as May Day Merriment, Victorian Christmas Lady, Christmas Past, Victorian Lady, and Oriental Elegance (cross stitcher 200) among others appear in your website, but not on your chartpacks page. Your designs are soooooo beautiful! I want to stitch every one of them! Thank you for being so talented and for putting out such great designs.

Yes, eventually all of these will be up on the chartpacks page. If anyone is interested, I have all of the magazine designs available as chartpacks but just have not had time to post them yet. If there is any one in particular that you are looking for, please email me at jelliottdesign@earthlink.net and I can put a packet together for you.

I purchased your book with CD, Asian-Inspired machine embroidery. In the Autumn Komono the mail color is
Sulky rayon 40 #1244. I have not been able to find #1244. Is this a misprint in the book? If so, what color should be there.

If you are using Sulky 40 wt rayon thread, the main color for the Autumn Kimono would be 502 Cornsilk.

Will you be doing a chart pack for the Native American Maiden from #75, of Cross Stitch Gold? I missed the issue and unfortunately I can’t get a back issue because it was sold out when I tried ordering it from the publishers. Thanks.

    Hi Joan
I just wanted to say Thank you for the fabulous Oriental collection chart booklet. This booklet has come in handy in finishing a round robin bell pull that was started in 2004 now with you little designs I will be able to complete my task. I received the Magazine and Booklet as an early Birthday gift from my stitching buddies. It is fabulous, will be looking forward to more of this size patterns in Oriental. I also have some of your books that I have collected through the years. So I’m a great fan of oriental style cross stitch patterns.
Do you have anymore Oriental small sharts in booklet or book form? If so could you please let me know how to get a hold of them.
Thanking you in advance for your assistance. José Hope

      Hi Laura-
I am not allowed to sell the Magic Dragon within the US because it is available here from Charles Craft (www.charlescraft.com) with the purchase of their Stardust Aida. They granted me permission to international sales since they do not ship outside the US.

I am from Singapore, I came across your work (Bewitching Cross Stitch) and have fall totally in love. I have bought most of your books and have done a few projects. I love the Geisha, summer goddess, winter goddess and rose goddess design. May I know where can I get it? I would also love to get your “The Ultimate Joan Elliott Cross Stitch Collection”. However I couldn’t find it anywhere. Can you help on this?

    Dear Joan,
I have been a huge fan of your designs for many years and have created many beautiful items from kits and magazine patterns of your designs. I have made too many things to display in my small flat or give as gifts, would you mind if I sell a few things I have made from your designs on the internet?

I would like to stitch some of your smaller designs as cards and free projects that come with magazines for the charity that my daughter works for, Royal London Society for the Blind based in Sevenoaks, Kent, so that they can sold for fundraising at events that they hold.

I only stitch one of each.

Can I have your permission please.

Hi Joan, I just saw a pattern that someone posted as their completed work that I loved and it turned out to be yours. It is called “North Pole Pals” and is from “The World of Cross Stitching” mag. November 2012 issue. Their site does not show any back issues for this month/year available. I was wondering if there was anywhere else it was published? I live in the USA.

    Thanks,

Hello, Joan. I hope you can help me. I recently saw a piece which featured woodland animals and “Children are a gift from heaven.” It has an owl, deer, duck and other precious animals. I was wondering where I could buy this chart as I feel it is the perfect piece for my first grandchild arriving this Fall. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and creativity.

The chart you are looking for is from my book Native American Cross Stitch. It is also available as a full kit from Design Works Crafts and you can order a chartpack(no threads or fabric) directly from me. If you would like to get the chartpack you can email me at jelliottdesign@earthlink.net and let me know if you want the chart in black & white or color and let me know your general location. I will then send you a money request through Paypal. The cost is $12 plus postage.

    Hi Joan,
I live in Russia and cross stitch is very popular here. And I like your designs very much. We have a website and one part is devoted to cross-stitch designers (only previews, without patterns). Is it possible to put some of your designs there? I mean pictures and may be the link where people can buy patterns.

Hi Joan! I love your ‘Words of Inspiration’ line! I’m trying to collect and stitch them all, so I can proudly display them in my home. I have “Love”, “Dream”, “Faith”, “Imagine”, and “Hope”. I’m trying to acquire “Believe”, and I don’t know if there are more that I’m missing. Can you tell me if I’m missing any more? Thank you so much!

Hi Joan I don’t know if you can help me but I have one of your designs called Flowerpot Cats #9425 which was bought as a kit. I have had this as a WIP for quite a while now. The problem I have is that part of the design that was shown on the packaging is not actually on the chart (plus I have lost the original packaging).. Is there any way you can help me with this missing section. I believe it is at the most an area of no more than 10 x 10 stitches. It is on the 3rd flowerpot from the left between the 1st & 2nd tulip the top part of the leaf which protrudes from behind is not charted. Please can you help. I have contacted Design Works who have replied that the kit is discontinued and they no longer have the pattern. Is there any way you can help?

    Thank you

      Hi Rebekah-
Thank you for your concern. Since I am the only one that can report to Pinterest about copyright infringement, the best thing you can do is send me the link to any of my designs that you find are being infringed.
Please email any links to me at jelliottdesign.earthlink.net rather than posting anything here.

    Hi Joan,
First, I just want to say that I love your designs. They are truly gorgeous and beautifully done. And I looked online for patterns of your designs which lead to my question below.

Why is it that names of your patterns are named differently on other websites? I have come across a good few of them and it’s quite confusing. Hope you don’t mind me asking.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hi Lorna- It usually means that someone is violating my copyrights and they are selling patterns taken or copied from the magazines. There are some exceptions, like when Design Works might change the name of a kit or Imaginating also sells some older patterns. The magazines usually used different names than what I gave the designs so that is always a tip off to me that someone is illegally copying from a magazine or stolen chart. People on Pinterest and various sites do this much to my aggravation. The best thing to do is buy from a reputable company like 123stitch, abcstitch, Casa Cenina, Stitch It Central and some other online stores that I wholesale to or Polstitches Designs. I do not sell PDFs so that is another tip off to copyright violations. If you have a question about the legitimacy of a pattern you can always ask me about it.
