The Dancing Mermaid

My Dancing Mermaid is now out and on the cover of the latest issue of Just Cross Stitch magazine. Here’s what they have to say about it:

This “glittering and glamorous mermaid emerges from the mist in Joan Elliott’s superb cross-stitch creation. Hand-dyed Caribbean blue Joblean fabric, almost three dozen floss colors, metallic braid and three colors of beads are the ingredients for making this deliciously dazzling wall decoration.”

You can purchase this issue by going to the Annie’s Publishing site.

I’m very excited about this design! I think the magazine made a mistake by doing away with full color charts completely rather than making it a downloadable option as they did with the black and white, but your mermaid is beautiful.

AMEN!! I dislike the fact that the patterns in the magazine are in B&W! I was hoping so much that this would be in color!

I’d love to buy this chart, but you have to download the entire magazine to get it. Not gonna do that! Too much to put onto my computer.

I purchased this magazine just for this chart. I am very thankful that it is in black and white. I find that this is the easiest way to follow a chart. I will get a working copy converted to a PDF format. I love pdf best. Thanks again well done.

I wish you would give the size. I don’t know whether to get the magazine or not. Thanks.
