Winter’s Grace

Winter's Grace

I am so happy to finally show you my newest design for Just Cross Stitch Magazine. The February 2017 issue is now on sale from Annie’s Publishing and also at 123stitch.com

I wanted to capture the feeling of lightly falling snow and the beauty of winter in this design. When stitched on sparkling opalescent fabric she comes alive with movement. Sparkling beads and metallic threads add dimension and hints of snow crystals and winterberries. I hope you will enjoy stitching her as much as I loved designing her!

      Hi Ann-
I will need to check. I do know they have online subscriptions available but will double check with the publisher for availability outside of the US.

So beautiful! Gorgeous! My husband doesn’t usually comment on cross stitch patterns, but when I showed him Winter’s Grace he said “WOW”!! 😊 Now I have to figure out how to get the pattern without him knowing! 😉

I’m currently working on your Rose Goddess pattern now. I’ve attached a picture showing my status of it so far. I’m using 11 pt. aida.

I will always be a fan of your designs!

    Thanks,

    Justine Brydia

Your designs are beautiful. I particularly like the way you design faces. They are very beautiful. I would love to be able to stitch more of your designs but the color charts kill me. I purchased your book Oriental Odyssey with the intent of stitching the ladies but so far I’m into my 2nd year of stitching Wisdom and it has been very difficult because of the color chart. Is there any way you can provide a b&w alternative?

Dear Joan, I happened upon the Just Cross Stitch at B&N today. Excited to see it I worried I missed the issue. I was very disappointed to see that YOU didn’t get the cover! You are loved around the world. So those of you who don’t miss the grand “Winter’s Grace”, look for the issue with the farm(?) on the cover so you get your copy. I also think that the photography in the mag. doesn’t do it justice. When I just pulled up that picture on your blog, it made me want to start it today!
I hope the editor reads your blog!
Love, Rosemarie … I’m not one to mince my words….
