Switching Seasons…

I know that a lot of stitchers are thinking of projects for Christmas so I now have two new designs out to get you started stitching for the holidays.

First in Cross Stitch Gold Issue 132, on news stands now, A Visit from Santa. I’ve pictured the design on Polstitches Designs beautiful hand dyed ‘snow cap’ 28 count Jobelan. His bag is filled with all sorts of Christmas goodies and the design sparkles with Kreinik metallic threads and Mill Hill seed beads, making him very festive indeed!

Just hitting the stands in the UK today is my latest Christmas Victorian Lady. She is out for a snowy stroll in her holiday frock and her lush warm furs and looking pretty as a picture. You will find her in Issue 222 of Cross Stitch Crazy. Stitched on the palest blue fabric, the shimmering beads in her dress and hat reflect the twinkle of snowflakes all around her.

Dear Joan, I just got my GOLD issue. I love the Santa, and the fabric you chose!! Must stitch it! Now, to try and get the CRAZY issue. The mags I’m sure have been hurting without your designs. We are so pleased to know you are back healthy. You deserve good health and good things.
    Love, Rosemarie

Joan, that Santa is just stunning! You do such lovely work 🙂
I have a question regarding your sentiments afghan (sorry, could not find a “contact” section…): I am planning on stitching it, but would like to substitute the “laughter” motif. Do you know if there is a color conversion for this one, or would you recommend another of your designs to substitute it with? Thank you and lots of blessings!

You can change the colors to suit whatever you prefer So if there are three shades of one color, light, medium, and dark, just pick another color and the corresponding three shades. Hope that helps 🙂
I’m afraid I don’t have a design that would fit in place of Laughter.
