I am sitting here in Brooklyn with a blizzard raging outside thinking about jewel toned peacocks strutting proudly through an idyllic summer garden. Join me in a bit of daydreaming by stitching a pretty collection of colorful Peacock projects that are perfect for brightening a winter’s day. You will find this easy to stitch ensemble in the latest Issue # 200 of Cross Stitch Crazy, now available on your newsstand in the UK. If you have already stitched my Swirling Peacock or my Majestic Peacock these would be just right to add to your collection. Enjoy!

Dearest Joan, Finally made my way to a Barnes & Noble to get this issue, your peacocks are stunning, of course. I picked up issue 225 of The World Of Cross Stitching also without hardly looking at the cover. To my super surprise I was thrilled to see your spring ‘seasonal sweeties.’ I love them, the little family of ladybugs, the goose dressed for spring, and oh!, your dear fairies!! I love them all. I was in such delight as my husband drove! What a happy way to remind ourselves that spring (hopefully) is around the corner!
    Love,
    Rosemarie

    Hi Rosemarie-
I am so happy you have found both magazines. I think we are all ready for spring at this point. What a winter it has been here in the Northeast!. Enjoy the designs and thanks again for all of your kind words and support.

I can make up a chartpack Angela. It will be available but I’ll have to wait until I recover. Joan

I am trying to start Swirling Peacock — my mother is goofy for peacocks and I know she is going to love it! But, there’s a symbol in the pattern that is not in the key — I can’t find it anywhere and I have no idea what floss correlates to it. Help! Where do I go to find help for this? I need to get this done before Mother’s Day — thank you for your help — Mellie
