… and…

The Winter Fairy should be hitting the stands now and I promised there would be more to come. In the latest Issue 178 of Cross Stitch Collection there is sneak preview of my next fantasy design so I thought I would post her here for you to see. I have the Maiden & Unicorn (coming in Issue 179, on sale December 18) pictured here on a background of my own. Details on the fabrics and threads used in the magazine will follow later on.  I’ll be posting a photo of the actual stitched piece as soon as it’s available.

For all of you that celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday, I wish you a day filled with good food, kind thoughts, and the love of family and friends. Enjoy!

It’s sooo beautiful! I am busy with your Father Christmas right now. I doubt I’ll finish it in time for this Christmas but it’s still a pleasure to stitch it!
I have made several of you designs!

lol if I didn’t already have too much to stitch, you have to go and design another one I simply MUST have! (. . . well once you have it for sale.) I got the spring & summer fairies and while I haven’t started them yet, I’m looking at them and imagining how they’ll look all stitched up. Absolutely beautiful and I love fantasy stuff like this.

Hi Joan, thanks very much for all your marvelous designs of last year.
I do own the summer fairy, and ordered the winter.
They match lovely in colors and size so they will cover a part of my entry
    in time.
Love them all, in the meantime I’m finishng the Geisha in Yellow, one of your designs as well. Using Rayon-DMC just for a silky-look, to make the kimono more shiny. It will be lovely!!

I truly love your designs! Are you planning on releasing your seasonal fairies separately? I’d love to be able to purchase the charts. Thanks!
